OTVORENO PISMO RUSKOM NARODU I DRŽAVNOM VRHU RUSKE FEDERACIJE

OTVORENO PISMO RUSKOM NARODU I DRŽAVNOM VRHU RUSKE FEDERACIJE
Poštovana braćo i sestre Ruskog naroda, uvaženi predstavnici Ruske Federacije,
S poštovanjem i bratskim pozdravom,
Nebojša Aleksić
Predsednik Saveza slobodnih sindikata Srbije

OTKRЫTOE PISЬMO RUSSKOMU NARODU I GOSUDARSTVENNOMU RUKOVODSTVU ROSSIЙSKOЙ FEDERACII
Uvažaemыe bratья i sёstrы russkogo naroda, dostoйnыe predstaviteli Rossiйskoй Federacii,
Ot imeni Soюza svobodnыh profsoюzov Serbii i ot sebя lično, kak sыn naroda, kotorый ne zabыl, čto značit soprotivlenie, stradanie i svoboda — obraщaюsь k vam po slučaю 9 maя, Dnя Pobedы, iz Serbii, zemli, propitannoй krovью nevinnыh.
V denь, kogda vesь svobodnый mir prazdnuet krah fašizma, mы, serbы, ne možem i ne dolžnы molčatь. Poka mnogie otvoračivaюtsя ot vas, mы ostaёmsя na storone istinы. Potomu čto istina v tom, čto bez Sovetskogo Soюza, bez russkih žertv i bez nravstvennoй pozicii vašego naroda, svobodы v Evrope bы ne bыlo.
Kak predsedatelь nezavisimogo i oppozicionnogo profsoюza v Serbii, я svidetelьstvuю — nelegko spravlяtьsя s davleniem. Nelegko vыrastatь na zemle, gde i vlastь, i bolьšaя častь oppozicii podčinяюtsя prяmыm ukazaniяm Zapada i zapadnыh posolьstv v Serbii. No mы zdesь ne radi lёgkogo puti — mы zdesь radi pravilьnogo.
Segodnя, kogda mnogie v Serbii molčat, pыtaяsь ugoditь posolьstvam zapadnыh stran v našeй strane, mы iz Serbii posыlaem golos: Mы s vami, bratья russkie. V borьbe protiv zla, v zaщite istinы, v čestь predkov.
Rossiя ne dolžna ostatьsя odna. Ona ne bыla odna v 1941 godu — ne odna i segodnя.
Mы ne veliki, no mы posledovatelьnы. Mы ne čislo — mы sovestь.
Svoboda i istina ne prosяt razrešeniя.
S uvaženiem i bratskim privetom,
Neboйša Alekcič
Predsedatelь Soюza svobodnыh profsoюzov Serbii

OPEN LETTER TO THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE AND THE STATE LEADERSHIP OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Dear brothers and sisters of the Russian people, esteemed representatives of the Russian Federation,
On behalf of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Serbia, and in my own name, as a son of a nation that has not forgotten the meaning of resistance, suffering, and freedom — I address you on the occasion of May 9th, Victory Day, from Serbia, a land soaked in the blood of the innocent.
On a day when the entire free world celebrates the defeat of fascism, we Serbs cannot and must not remain silent. While many turn their backs on you, we stand on the side of truth. Because the truth is this: without the Soviet Union, without the Russian sacrifices, and without the moral stance of your people, there would be no freedom in Europe.
As the president of an independent and opposition trade union in Serbia, I testify that it is not easy to endure pressure. It is not easy to rise from a land where both the government and the majority of the opposition follow direct orders from the West and Western embassies in Serbia. But we are not here for what is easy — we are here for what is right.
Today, while many in Serbia remain silent in an attempt to curry favor with the embassies of Western countries on our soil, we from Serbia raise our voices: We stand with you, Russian brothers. In the fight against evil, in defense of truth, in honor of our ancestors.
Russia must not stand alone. It didn’t in 1941, and it does not today.
We are not mighty, but we are steadfast. We are not many, but we are conscience.
Freedom and truth do not ask for permission.
With respect and fraternal greetings,
Nebojša Aleksić
President of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Serbia
