A mother cannot be dismissed during pregnancy or leave. 100% of pay up to 18 months.
Leave duration
- Maternity: 28 days before + 73 after birth
- Child care: up to age 1
- Special care: up to age 5
Pay
100% of average salary over the preceding 18 months, paid by the Health Insurance Fund.
Dismissal protection
The employer cannot dismiss a pregnant woman, a mother on leave, or a parent on child-care leave.
