Vučiću, čuvaj se svojih Svedoci nikome nisu potrebni

Dok javnost godinama gleda u bivšu vlast koja je pomogla stvaranje SNS-a, i čiji najznačajniji deo okupljen oko Vučića je upravo ta ista bivša vlast, postavlja se pitanje koliko je ovde zapravo reč o novoj politici. Imamo kontinuitet iste vlasti od 2000. godine, a dolaskom SNS-a na vlast 2012. dobili smo koaliciju gubitnika i dobitnika petooktobarskih događanja — ljudi koji su, bez obzira na to na kojoj su strani tada stajali, danas opet zajedno za istim stolom. U toj koaliciji, postavlja se pitanje da li Aleksandar Vučić danas ima većeg neprijatelja od onih koji su se obogatili i postali moćni upravo za vreme njegove vladavine. Studentski pokret nema razlog za strah — on nema šta da sakrije. Ali oni koji su gradili imperije uz njegov potpis, uz njegovo ćutanje, uz njegovu zaštitu — bez obzira da li su formalno u SNS-u ili glume režimsku opoziciju ili sindikalne kućne ljubimce vlasti — oni imaju razlog da drhte. Jer Vučić zna ko su bili pre vlasti. Zna kako su postali ono što su danas. Svedok je sopstvenim očima, i svedoci, po pravilu, nikome nisu potrebni kad više nisu korisni. Zato se ne treba čuditi ako režimska opozicija koja godinama glumi otpor i SNS ispod Vučića i sindikalni kućni ljubimci koji služe istim gospodarima — danas ćute, oklevaju i čuvaju sopstvenu pozadinu. Strah od zatvora i oduzete imovine ne dolazi od studenata. Dolazi od onih koji znaju šta bi svedok mogao da kaže kad prestane da im bude koristan.

Vučić, beware of your own Witnesses are needed by no one

While the public has spent years looking at the former regime that helped create the SNS — a regime whose most significant part, gathered around Vučić, is itself that same former power — the question arises just how much of this is genuinely new politics. We have a continuity of the same power since 2000, and with the SNS coming to power in 2012, we got a coalition of the losers and winners of the October 5th events — people who, regardless of which side they stood on back then, today again sit together at the same table. Within that coalition, the question arises whether Aleksandar Vučić today has a greater enemy than those who grew rich and powerful precisely during his rule. The student movement has nothing to fear — it has nothing to hide. But those who built their empires under his signature, under his silence, under his protection — regardless of whether they are formally in the SNS or merely playing the role of regime opposition or union lapdogs of power — they have reason to tremble. Because Vučić knows who they were before power. He knows how they became what they are today. He is a witness with his own eyes, and witnesses, as a rule, are needed by no one once they stop being useful. So it should come as no surprise if the regime opposition that has spent years performing resistance and the SNS beneath Vučić, along with the union lapdogs serving the same masters, are today silent, hesitant, and guarding their own backs. Fear of prison and confiscated property does not come from the students. It comes from those who know what a witness might say once he is no longer useful.
